Meet Dr. Kassi Marshall, MD

Kassi Marshall, MD is a Christian internal medicine physician from Eastern Kentucky grateful for the opportunity to care for patients and their families. She grew up in Grayson, KY and as a young child dreamed of becoming a doctor.

Dr. Marshall attended Alice Lloyd College where she met her husband, Charles. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville. After earning her MD, she completed the UofL Internal Medicine Residency program. Dr. Marshall has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2009.

After completing residency, she and her family returned home to Eastern Kentucky. Since that time, she has practiced in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, long term care, patient homes, psychiatric facilities, a high school clinic, and with hospice and palliative care. She thrives on diagnostic challenges, embraces clinical complexities, and uses critical thinking to manage multi-faceted patient care needs. Her devotion, excellence, and communication skills have been recognized by various awards.

Her Christian faith is the basis of her love of medicine and individuals. She is humbled by the opportunity to serve in her daily role as physician and on mission trips.

Outside of the office, she loves traveling, reading, organizing mission teams, cheering on Alice Lloyd College, and spending as much time as possible with her amazing family. Her husband is President of Alice Lloyd College where they live with their three children.
